PROJECT ACTIVITIES OF PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY TO PROMOTE THE RUSSIAN LANGUAGE AT THE REGIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL LEVELS
Abstracts

Introduction. The article substantiates the relevance of the implementation of project activities on the basis of a pedagogical university within the development of international relations; There is a presentation of review of the main projects on the promotion of the Russian language as a language of education and science. The purpose of the article is to justify and disclose the author’s concept of the effective organization of cultural and educational projects for strengthening the status of the Russian language in the world.

Materials and methods. The main research methods are the analysis of scientific literature on the problem of increasing the attractiveness of the Russian language in the educational services market, on the implementation of project activities to popularize the Russian language in children and youth, as well as diagnostic methods, including observation, conversation, questioning, description, testing, methods statistical data processing.

Results. An innovative functional cultural and educational model, developed for project activities should help to promote the Russian language under children and youth with the optimal use of the resources of a pedagogical university; the authors provide a description of the main components of the model, interactive technologies, working practices, including the corresponding design modules; the authors have worked out and described effective methods for the formation of mechanisms of the volunteer movement in the students' community to attract attention to the study of the Russian language.

Discussion. The implementation of effective project activities to promote the Russian language is to achieve through compliance with the following basic principles: prognosticity, consistency, cultural analogy, and self-development. At the same time, the specifics of cultural and educational activities in international projects are to take into account, aimed at career guidance and conducting international distance competitions, competitions for foreign schoolchildren, students and working youth.

Conclusion. There is a conclusion that the developed innovative functional cultural and educational model of international project activity will contribute to the promotion of the Russian language as the language of education and science in Russia and abroad.

Highlights

The principles and directions of the project activities of the pedagogical university in the context of the development of international relations and the strengthening of the status of the Russian language were determined;

The authors introduced a functional cultural and educational model that contributes to the creation of conditions for support and further development of international activities to promote the Russian language as the language of education and science;

The authors presented effective practices on organizing cultural and educational projects involving domestic and foreign students of Russian universities.
